CREATIVE CONSULTING: Whether you've begun your project or have already completed it, Creative Consulting can benefit you. For those just embarking on or still in the process of completing their projects, this service provides you with the assistance you need to move forward confidently. By discussing your project at length, your goals once it is completed, what areas you're most concerned with needing help in, and even mapping out details, you will have a clearer view of how to proceed. 

GENERAL DOCUMENTS: Inevitably, there will come a time when you will be required to compile an extremely important document that can either make or break your situation. College-entrance essays, business letters, statements, and personal documents are several items from the list. Unfortunately, if "Word Savvy" is not your middle name, or if you have a hard time expressing your thoughts on paper, these types of documents can bring on a lot of undue stress. I will develop the content of your project and turn it into a coherent, well-worded piece that you'll feel good about signing your name to in the end.


Please note that proofreading is only for people with previously copy edited documents in need of final check. You will need to have had your manuscript or document copy edited by a professional first (this does not include family, friends, or teachers, unless they are professional editors who earn a living as such, and who adhere to the rules of one or more editing style guides). 

Copy editing for novels, memoirs, and short stories is $5.50/pg. My copy editing system includes sentence structure, grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and one round of proofreading once all copy editing is complete.

*Screenplays- $3.75/pg. copy edit; $2.75/pg. proofread (Final Draft screenwriting program)

*Poetry- $3.50/pg. copy edit; $2.50/pg. proofread

Please allow a minimum of 6 weeks for projects that are 150 pages or more. Screenplays up to 110 pages may be returned in weeks.

CONTENT ASSESSMENT: $3.50/pg. An essential step before proceeding to copy editing/proofreading. This service includes detailed assessment of your project, with suggestions, questions, and comments inserted in the document, to prepare you for the rewrite phase prior to editing.  

BLOGS: Copy edit - $5.50/pg. (Please send your post in MS Word, double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12-point font); proofread - $3.50/pg

RESUMESConsultation - $75.00. 30-minute phone consult for those who desire direction on how to rewrite their resumes on their own, including how to tailor resume for specific job(s).

Basic assessment - $40.00. Email with details on how to improve resume, for those who are planning to submit their current document to recruiters. 

Write from scratch or rewrite/overhaul an already written resume, includes editing and formatting - $125.00.

Copy edit resumes - $40.00 (includes proofreading). No formatting or rewriting included.


COPY EDITING: $175.00 for five site pages; $25.00/pg. for any additional pages on one site. Single page $35.00. Free site evaluation (upon request) to determine depth of work needed; does not include actual editing. *Please note that this service is not recommended for media- and photo-heavy sites with limited text.

COPYWRITING (includes copy editing): $350 for five site pages; $50.00/pg. for any additional pages on one site. Single page $70.00.
