Unfortunately, if "Word Savvy" is not your middle name, or if you have a hard time expressing your thoughts on paper, these types of documents can bring on a lot of undue stress. I will help you flesh out your core message and sentiments, develop the content of your project, and turn it into a well-worded, powerful piece that you'll feel good about signing your name to in the end. PROOFREADING AND COPY EDITING:
Please note that proofreading is only for people with previously copy edited documents in need of final check. You will need to have had your manuscript or document copy edited by a professional first (this does not include family, friends, or teachers, unless they are professional editors who earn a living as such, and who adhere to the rules of one or more editing style guides). **Your book is incomplete if it has not been professionally edited. This is a crucial part of the publishing process, so please do not skip it. Your readers deserve to purchase a project that you have invested in ensuring looks its best.**
Copy editing is $6.00/pg. My copy editing system includes sentence structure, grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and one round of proofreading once all copy editing is complete.

MANUSCRIPT REVIEW: $350.00 FLAT-RATE FEE up to 250 pages. This service is for authors who would like a general review of their book. This will include brief notes regarding what works well and what areas may need specific attention during the rewrite phase. Author will be provided up to two pages of review notes. *Please be advised that this is not an in-depth assessment. See Content Assessment below for more information.*
DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING: $8.00/pg. Deep dive into the development of your content, where major and minor revisions are made, structural changes take place, and we solidify your content and ensure optimal flow of your overall story. If you have already done this step, please consider Content Assessment. *Includes copy editing and proofreading of revised content.
CONTENT ASSESSMENT: $5.00/pg. An essential step before proceeding to copy editing/proofreading. This service includes detailed assessment of your project, with suggestions, questions, and comments inserted in the document, to prepare you for the rewrite phase prior to editing. *Does not include copy editing or proofreading.
BLOGS: Copy edit - $5.50/pg. (Please send your post in MS Word, double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12-point font); proofread - $3.50/pg.
